Future space
Our intention:
Starting together into the
digital future
The MARK Future Space – the innovation lab at MARK – gives children, young people and adults the opportunity to try out and understand 3D printers, robot arms, laser cutters, drones and much more for themselves.
MARK Future Space:
A space
to experience technology
In a world driven by technology and innovation, it is crucial to get young minds excited about the possibilities of modern technology at an early age.
3D printing, programming robots, flying with drones – in today’s working world, these are completely normal processes. In our Future Space with eight stations, we offer children and young people the unique opportunity to try out these and other components of the digital world for themselves.
What is the MARK Future Space?
The MARK Future Space is a modern knowledge and learning centre where children and adults can try out new technologies. There are 8 labs (=labs/stations) with the main focus on digitalisation, research, technology, natural sciences and innovation.
What exactly happens there?
In the Future Space, children, young people and adults can try out new technologies. They learn how to programme robots in a fun way, design and print objects using 3D printers, fly drones, find answers in ChatGPT and much more. Together, they will gain many new perspectives and immerse themselves in the digital world for the first time.
What are the benefits of the MARK Future Space?
It is an experience. An enriching experience with deep meaning, as reflection is not neglected. The integration of robots and ChatGPT into everyday life brings numerous benefits, including more efficient work processes, personalised support and innovative solutions. However, they also harbour potential risks, such as privacy concerns, social alienation and dependence on technology, which need to be carefully considered.
How long does the MARK Future Space programme last?
In these approximately 3 hours, children and adults are offered an exciting and varied programme on the topics of technology, robotics, sensor technology, social media and health. Of course, the MARK Future Space programme also includes one important topic – thermoforming: our core expertise for over 100 years. Our core expertise, which we are proud of. Deep drawing will also be part of the MARK Future Space.
